5 Year Dance Trophy Sign up

If your child has been dancing at Pirouette for 5 consecutive years, they are eligible for a 5 Year Dance Trophy. PLEASE SIGN THEM UP in the office or send an email so we can put them on the list. We try our best to keep track but we want to make sure we don’t miss anyone. The deadline for sign up is 5/2. If they have been dancing more than 5 years there is no reason to sign up. We will have them on the list for their next available medal/trophy based on last year’s recital program.

 

Recital T-shirt Orders

Recital T-shirts will feature the Recital Logo on the front and a list of all the dancers (even if you are not performing in Recital and registered before 4/1/26). Mini Movers are also featured on the back of our recital shirts! We will also be selling Recital T-shirts that say “Dance Mom” or “Dance Dad” on the back. The cost of a pre-ordered T-shirt is $30. The deadline is 5/16/26. Like last year, we will NOT be ordering any extras to sell so YOU WILL NOT GET A SHIRT IF YOU DO NOT PRE-ORDER. Picture Week 

Picture week is when all of the students participating in Recital take pictures as groups and individuals. If you are not in Recital, you may take individual pictures in your class attire if you wish. You may come at any time we are doing pictures and take your individual picture.  

Purchasing or participating in pictures is optional and not mandatory. Picture week order forms will be distributed prior to Picture Week. We will not be having normal dance classes during picture week but will hold our adult fitness classes.

Picture week schedule will not be exactly the same as your child’s normal class schedule (see Picture Week Schedule). Please confirm your child’s picture time and day as we WILL NOT HOLD/RETAKE PICTURES IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT PRESENT. 

Pictures will be taken in Studio B and costume changes will take place in Studio A. 

Here are the guidelines for Picture week this year: 

• • Arrive in your costume for your first picture & leave in your costume for your last picture
  • Only change in Studio A when absolutely necessary
  • Only have ONE female parent or guardian per student to help change if necessary (NO males allowed in Studio A dressing room)
  • No siblings or extra family members will be permitted in the studio
  • No one is allowed in Studio B besides scheduled dancers being photographed and staff. THIS INCLUDES PARENTS OF MINI MOVERS! Students must be able to enter the room without the parent for pictures. Miss Kiirsten will remain in the room with students.
  • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your first scheduled picture time with costume and full stage hair and make up (see below for images of hair and make up)
  • You are required to have all accessories, proper tights, proper shoes, no jewelry (including earrings and body jewelry), and have tattoos covered.
    • If you do not have all of the above you will not be permitted to take the group photo but can still take an individual
  • Please leave as soon as your last picture has been taken

• Picture sales are CASH ONLY- The photographer will not have the ability to accept checks or cards in our facility.

 

Recital Costumes

We have been giving out Recital costumes as they have been coming in. If your child has not received theirs yet, please do not worry. Some of our ship dates are as late as 4/18 this year. As a reminder, if your child joined after December 13th (the final costume payment deadline), they are not eligible to be in the Recital and will not be getting a costume. Once you have your child’s costume(s), PLEASE keep it safe and do not lose any of the pieces. If you lose any of the pieces, they will not be able to be in Recital. We have also steamed them all ahead of time so please try your best to not wrinkle them.

We are running TWO Acro Camps this summer! Sign up here to secure your child’s spot as these camps always sell out!

Summer Workshop

We are so excited to host our annual summer workshop on June 30th & July 1st. Joining us are amazing coaches and choreographers from both the East and West Coasts. We’ve got former back up dancers for Beyonce, NFL Cheerleaders, and USA Gymnastics athletes coming to PDA to work with our students! These workshops are open to all students 10 and up and our Competition Team dancers. We also have an intermediate Acro workshop open to all students in Acro 2, 3, & 4 (regardless of their age).

Summer Classes

We are holding recreational summer classes as well as advanced summer classes. Classes are filled on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS so please register ASAP. You can sign up for summer classes via the google form links below. Schedules and pricing can be found in the Google Forms as well!
