Combo 2
Ages 8-up / 90 minute class
This class will test the student’s sense of self that was learned in Creative Movement 1 & 2, as well as Combo 1. By this time the student should have a basic understanding of Ballet/Jazz and Tap, be able to interact with other students, and participate in class activities. Ballet 30 mins, Jazz 30 mins, & Tap 30 mins.
Int. Teal/Teal Tap
Ages 10-up / 30 minute class
This class focuses on the intricate rhythms through Classical and modernized Tap dancing. Here students will be expected to perform Tap choreography and learn Tap terminology.
Int. Teal/Teal Jazz
Ages 10-up / 30 minute class
This class introduces students to the different styles of Jazz dance and technique while incorporating terminology and flexibility.
Int. Teal/Teal Ballet
Ages 10-up / 30 minute class
This class follows the Cecchetti method of Ballet. Students will become familiar with the different parts of a Ballet class and proper Ballet class etiquette.
Musical Theater
Ages 12-up / 45 minute class
A class in which music from popular Broadway shows will be used and the skill of acting through dance will be introduced.
Teal Hip Hop
Ages 12-up / 45 minute class
This is a basic class that introduces modern hip hop moves/styles.
Pom
Ages 8-up / 30 minute class
This class is a combination of dance and cheerleading. Here “poms” are used and dances consist of basic Jazz moves coupled with popular cheering techniques. Various levels offered.
Acro
Ages 8-up / 30 – 45 minute class
Here students will be taught basic moves and stunts incorporated from tumbling and gymnastics. Various levels offered.
Irish Step
Ages 8-up / 30 minute class
Irish step is a traditional social dance form originated in Ireland characterized by rapid leg and foot movement. Various levels offered for both soft shoe and hard shoe technique.
Contemporary
Ages 12-up / 30 minute class
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet.
