5 Year Dance Trophy Sign up
If your child has been dancing at Pirouette for 5 consecutive years, they are eligible for a 5 Year Dance Trophy. PLEASE SIGN THEM UP in the office or send an email so we can put them on the list. We try our best to keep track but we want to make sure we don’t miss anyone. Deadline for sign up is 5/13. If they have been dancing more than 5 years there is no reason to sign up. We will have them on the list for their next available medal/trophy based on last year’s recital program.
Recital T-shirt Orders
Recital T-shirts will feature the Recital Logo on the front and a list of all the dancers (even if you are not performing in Recital and registered before 4/1/23). We will also be selling Recital T-shirts that say “Dance Mom” or “Dance Dad” on the back. Cost of a pre-ordered T-shirt is $30. Deadline is 5/13/23. Like last year, we will NOT be ordering any extras to sell so YOU WILL NOT GET A SHIRT IF YOU DO NOT PRE-ORDER. Please fill out the google form with the link below for your Recital T-shirt order.

Picture Week
Picture week (May 22nd-27th) is when all of the students participating in Recital take pictures as groups and individuals. If you are not in Recital, you may take individual pictures in your class attire if you wish. Purchasing or participating in pictures is optional and not mandatory. We will not be having normal dance classes during picture week but will hold fitness classes. Picture week schedule will not be exactly the same as your normal class schedule. Please confirm your child’s picture time and day as we WILL NOT HOLD/RETAKE PICTURES IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT PRESENT. Pictures will be taken in Studio B and costume changes will take place in Studio A. SCHEDULE IS ATTACHED TO THE END OF THIS NEWSLETTER. We will also email out a more detailed schedule with students’ names. Here are the new guidelines for Picture week this year:

- Arrive in your costume for your first picture
- Leave in your costume for your last picture
- Only change in Studio A when absolutely necessary
- Only have ONE parent or guardian per student to help change if absolutely necessary
- No siblings or extra family members will be permitted in the studio
- No one is allowed in Studio B besides scheduled dancers being photographed and staff
- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your first scheduled picture time with costume and full stage hair and make up (more details to follow)
- Please leave as soon as your last picture has been taken
- Picture sales are CASH ONLY- The photographer will not have the ability to accept checks or cards in our facility.
Recital Costumes
We have been giving out Recital costumes as they have been coming in. If your child has not gotten theirs yet, please do not worry. Some of our ship dates are as late as 4/28 this year due to supply chain issues. As a reminder, if your child joined after December 10th (the final costume payment deadline), they are not eligible to be in the Recital and will not be getting a costume. Once you have your child’s costume, PLEASE keep it safe and do not lose any of the pieces. If you lose any of the pieces, they will not be able to be in Recital. We have also steamed them all ahead of time so try your best to not wrinkle them.
Recital
We will be having our Recital at Durfee High School on Saturday, June 24th. There will be two shows: one at noon and one at 5:00 PM. Recital dancers are REQUIRED to perform in both shows. We will also have a tech rehearsal on Tuesday, 6/20 at 5:00 and a dress rehearsal on Wednesday, 6/21 at 5:00. We will be handing out Recital packets soon with detailed information. Please note, if your child registered after December 10, 2023, they are not eligible to participate in the Recital.
Acro Camp
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! We will hold Acro Camp on August 14th-18th, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Cost is $40 per day or $175 for the entire week ($25 Savings)! This is open to students ages 5 & up, FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE! This event sells out every year so please register ASAP via the link beside the attached Acro Flyer.
