DESCRIPTION:Tickets \n\nRecital Ticket sales are from 8:00AM-Noon. Do not come after noon\, we will not be here.\nCASH/CREDIT CARD ONLY SALE (no checks will be accepted)\nOnce you arrive on ticket day you may stand in line to reserve your spot to get a number.\nTickets are purchased per show. One ticket WILL NOT admit you to both shows.\nWhen we get there around 7:45 we will begin to hand out numbers\, that will determine what order you will come into the office to purchase tickets.\nOnce 8:00AM rolls around\, numbers will be called in order and you will be able to come in and purchase tickets.\nONE NUMBER PER PERSON. IF YOU TRY TO COME IN THE OFFICE WITH ANOTHER MOTHER AND ONLY ONE NUMBER\, YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PURCHASE TICKETS. THIS IS A VERY ORGANIZED SYSTEM THAT PROMOTES FAIRNESS AMONGST EVERYONE. NO ONE IS SUBJECT TO NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES.\n YOU MAY ALSO NOT TAKE MORE THAN ONE NUMBER. IF THIS OCCURS YOU WILL BE SENT TO THE BACK OF THE LINE. EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE THEIR CHILDREN PERFORM SO LET’S ALL WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE SURE IT GOES AS SMOOTH AS POSSIBLE. IF YOUR NUMBER IS CALLED AND YOU ARE NOT THERE YOU WAIT UNTIL WE CAN TAKE YOU IN.\nPlease do not call the studio to see what number we are on. It distracts the staff and slows the whole process down.\nYOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY TICKETS UNLESS ALL ACCOUNTS ARE MADE CURRENT\, THIS INCLUDES JUNE TUITION. There are 2 Recitals on Recital day that your child is expected to participate in: 12:00 & 5:00.\nTickets will be sold at a price of $14 ON TICKET DAY ONLY.\nAFTER TICKET DAY\, TICKET PRICE INCREASES TO $16 PER TICKET\nAny child 2 and under that will be sitting on a parent’s lap does not need to purchase a ticket. IF YOUR CHILD IS 3 AND OVER\, THEY WILL NEED TO PURCHASE THEIR OWN SEAT AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SIT ON YOUR LAP. Children under 2 will require a stamp on their accompanying adult’s ticket.\nTickets are sold as assigned seating.\nThere are NO LIMITATIONS as to how many tickets you can buy.\nOnce everyone buys tickets\, the next day\, Monday\, all remaining tickets will be released on a first come first serve basis at 4:00PM in the event people need more tickets for the Recitals.\nIf your child is not participating in Recital you are eligible for two half price tickets for you and your child to watch Recital. These may be purchased after ticket sales day.\nIf you do not come on ticket day and do not send anyone YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE TICKETS AND WILL MISS THE CHANCE TO SEE YOUR CHILD PERFORM IN RECITAL.\nDO NOT WAIT FOR MONDAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS BECAUSE THEY MAY SELL OUT ON TICKET DAY.\nYou may opt to not stand in line and come later\, say at 11:30AM. This is fine but there may not be the seating you desire or the show time you desire. This is your decision to make.\nTICKET SALES ARE OVER AT 12PM (OR WHEN THE LINE ENDS). DO NOT COME AFTER 12PM BECAUSE THERE WILL BE NO ONE HERE AND YOU WILL NOT GET TICKETS..\nDANCERS WHO WISH TO WATCH THE RECITAL (SIT IN THE AUDIENCE) MUST PURCHASE A TICKET. They are not allowed to sit on your lap unless they are 2 years old or younger.\n\n\nThere is no need to purchase a ticket for your child or you if your child has a lot of dances. Please don’t forget you will get to see them at dress rehearsal and there is a live feed in the dressing area so you can watch the show live!

NO T-SHIRTS OR PANTS. If you are not in dress code\, you will not be able to perform.\nPlease arrive 30 minutes early\nPlease bring all shoes needed\nHair must be tied up neatly and tightly!\nONLY STUDENT AND ONE PARENT/ADULT ARE TO COME. SUMMARY:Recital 2018- CHEERS TO 10 YEARS!
DESCRIPTION:Recital \nWhat:              Presentation of all skills and choreography learned throughout year. \nWhen:              Saturday\, June 30th\, 2018 \nTime:               12:00PM and 5:00PM (DANCERS MUST ARRIVE 1 HOUR PRIOR TO EACH SHOW) \nSame show is being performed twice and you are REQUIRED to participate in both shows. \nApproximate show time is 2 hours. \nAwards will be presented after second show only. \nWhere:             Durfee High School Auditorium \n360 Elsbree Street \nFall River\, MA 02720 \n  \n  \nGeneral Rules \n\nPlease do your best to follow all the rules\, they are set forth for a reason. If we all work together we can make it a great experience for everyone!\nNo food or drinks allowed in the auditorium. Dancers/audience may bring in water.\nCostumes worn out of the dressing area MUST BE COVERED!!! You can wear your Recital t-shirt over costume. The show is a surprise to our audience and we want to keep it that way by covering our costumes.\nEnter and exit auditorium during dance change only. Doors WILL NOT be opened during a dance!! The door will be monitored\, and this rule will be enforced.\nIf someone is holding the door shut during a performance do not bang on it and try to push it open\nPlease be respectful of the staff member at the door. PROFANITIES OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY RESULT IN BEING REMOVED FROM THE VENUE.\nNO NAIL/TOE POLISH!\nNo earrings\, body jewelry\, rings\, bracelets or jewelry of any kind!!\nNo sitting on the floor or the aisle during Recital. Everyone must purchase a ticket.\nNo walking in front of the stage or in front of the teacher’s table near front row. We have wires running to stage and don’t want anyone to fall.\nPlease be courteous to others and do not bring big balloons\, stuffed animals\, etc. into the Recital as they will block others view.\nParents of little ones- Your children will be lined up in the hallway in front of the door to backstage. You may stay with them until they go backstage. NO PARENTS ARE ALLOWED BACKSTAGE. After their dance please come retrieve them from that same hallway.\nYou will be required to get your child to the hallway 3 numbers before their routine. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS READY TO PERFORM\, WE DO NOT HOLD THE SHOW IF NOT EVERYONE IS THERE.\nIf your child does not make it on the stage in time they will not be allowed to run on in the middle of the dance\n\n  \nArrival/Departure \n\nStudents are expected to arrive one hour prior to each show start time to get in full make-up and hair.\nCOSTUMES DO NOT NEED TO BE WORN TO THE SCHOOL. It is your choice whether or not to have your child arrive in costume but keep in mind what could happen to it on the way to the school (i.e. wrinkling). They also must be covered with something (i.e. Recital t-shirt) so the audience cannot see the costume.\nIf a student is not there in time the show will start as expected. We will not hold a dance if you are late.\nFor the little ones\, once your dance is completed you may leave if you are not in the finale. Please note if you leave you must come back and perform in the second show.\n\n  \nGirl’s Hair \n\nHair must be neatly tied back in a low bun (hairnet must be worn around bun)\nNo bangs/No part\nNo glitter\, colored sprays or anything else that alters the appearance. We have a lot of people with allergies so please respect these rules.\nSee picture on board in waiting room\n\n  \nBoy’s Hair \n\nNo glitter\, colored sprays or anything else that alters the appearance\nFaux hawk with gel\nSee picture on board in waiting room\n\n  \nGirl’s Make-up \n\nColor scheme is to be earth tones (browns).\nLipstick color- “Cherries in the Snow” by Revlon #440\nMake-up needs to be heavier than usual to show up on stage\nNO GLITTER\nSee picture on board in waiting room\n\n  \nCostumes \n\nNo costumes are to be worn out of dressing room without covering (ie. Recital t-shirt)\nPlease make sure costumes are steamed and in good condition\, we are putting on a professional show and want to have a professional appearance.\nCostumes have been steamed prior to you receiving so please leave hung up in bag.\n\n\nCostumes are to be worn as decided on per costume book. Costume book will be available\nNo changes without consulting instructor\nNo underwear/bra under costumes.  Wearing these undergarments causes “underwear lines” and looks extremely unprofessional if underwear is visible from stage. UNDERTARDS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!!\nTIGHTS ARE YOUR UNDERWEAR FOR COSTUMES.\nTIGHTS MUST BE THE SAME BRAND/COLOR THAT IS REQUIRED\, which may be purchased at the studio.\n\n  \n  \nDressing Areas \n\nNO MEN WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE DRESSING ROOM HALLWAY AT ANY TIME\, SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.\n\n\nThere are multiple dressing rooms available\nDressing rooms will be assigned by class.\nDoors will be labeled.\nIf you are in more than one room based on your classes\, you may pick the one you want.\nDRESSING AREAS ARE FOR STUDENTS AND WHOEVER IS HELPING THEM CHANGE. NO FRIENDS OR FAMILY\nPlease no food or drinks around the costumes in the dressing area\nThere will be one dressing room for BOYS ONLY.\nNO BOYS ALLOWED IN GIRLS CHANGING AREAS AND NO GIRLS ALLOWED IN BOYS CHANGING AREA (except moms)\nWe will have a “quick change” room for students who do not have time to run back to dressing room and change. A “quick change” is 3 numbers or less. This is not a room to stay in the entire time\, just for your quick changes please.\n\nTips for a successful Recital \n\nBring a mini “recital oops kit” that contains:\n\nBobby pins\, Extra hair net\, Hair spray\, Gel\, Needle & thread\, Safety pins\, “tide to go stick” or something similar\, Clear nail polish (for runs in tights)\, Make-up kit\, Clear packing tape or scotch tape\, Baby powder\, Scissors\, Deodorant/ body spray \n\nBe respectful of others costumes and avoid colored drinks and messy snacks in the dressing area.\nBring quiet games (i.e. cards/puzzle/portable DVD players) to keep little ones entertained while they are waiting.\nThere are a lot of first time moms this year so if you have extra things or ideas\, please help them out.\nCome with hair and make-up done to save time\nMake sure costumes are all set (no alterations/ not wrinkled) the night before\nTo get the wrinkles out of costumes DO NOT IRON. Hang in bathroom and steam with hot shower or use a steamer if you have one.\nIf child is complaining of the costume being itchy purchase an “undertard” or use baby powder to alleviate.\nNetwork- Get some of the other mothers in your class’ phone numbers in case you have an issue\nIn between shows you have a few options. You can go to a restaurant for lunch\, travel home and come back for second show\, or you can pack a lunch and stay at the school for the break. The staff will be leaving but you are welcome to stay.\nDo your best to adhere to all of the rules for a stress free experience.\nHave fun\, relax\, and dance your heart out!!!
